The Real Secret

The Great Mystery envelopes us all, from eternity to infinity - from the incomprehensibly vast to the unfathomably miniscule, we do not know what we really are and do not know why there is anything at all. But, there is something, this great reality - and what it truly is at the core we can only guess. Now we might look again at the “great cloud of unknowing,” that mystery currently beyond human comprehension and speculate anew at what the heart of existence is. Today, we see the nature of things much more clearly than ever before and we might be able to surmise the basic identity of the heart of existence much closer to the truth than we have ever done. Of course, it is true that we may still be infinitely off base in what we speculate, but is it possible to gain a notion of the deepest truth? Can we unveil just a little better, the great “real” secret of all that is? That is the very purpose of this spiritual exploration, to hopefully open the window of understanding just a little wider for the benefit of all of humanity. For now more than ever, we need a philosophy of human unity - of universal unity, to be a torch for all who follow - though they shall surely unveil the great secret even more than we!

The Real Secret lies at the heart of existence. It is vastly more fundamental than quantum units, more basic than the unprobed and unmeasured dimensions, more than whatever our science may yet discover - as that noble endeavor probes deeper and deeper into the nature of things. It is that which truly is. This “is” cannot be fully grasped by minds as finite as ours. But we may gain a great notion of it from the ways it reflects itself in the reality we can perceive. Like Plato’s “shadow on the cave wall” we can see enough of a reflection of the heart of existence to visualize something of a qualitative sense of it. When we reflect upon what we observe in the universe and nature, we see a magnificent interplay of energy and matter and the dimensions of existence, creating a beautiful and wondrous realm. We see chance, chaos, unpredictability, uncertainty, along with all the physical forces that we currently understand - creating continuously the wondrous forms that we observe. From the beginning at the birth of the universe in the Big Bang inflation, we see a continuous evolution and perpetual interaction and relationship between all things. To have the universe exist as it does at this moment is a miraculous accomplishment, given the very simple and basic beginning of it. The whole collective process and interplay seems to speak of the ideal that we humans have of Love. Such a love on this scale, and in this way, seems to reflect a significant ideal that we hold dear - that is that  true love is free. As we observe the cosmos and reality itself, we see that the creative principle has set existence free to evolve and create itself in its own amazing ways. We do not see an intentional “designer” continuously planning and interjecting new forms and processes. Instead we see a noble, unintentional, perpetual, creative mechanism creating a cosmos of vast and intricate form and function. This is the great wonder of existence and the perpetual beauty and nobility of it truly reflects its essence.

The Real Secret is that Love, as we may understand it on a cosmic and perhaps divine scale, is the foundation of reality. It is the essence of the infinite consciousness that eternally emanates its radiance into form. It has created the dimensions, becoming the basic framework of reality.

All energy and matter are noble evolved creations from the effects of dimensional vibration in this universe, and all other realms of existence contain the same elementary consciousness manifesting into whatever comes forth in those realms. These are realities beyond our comprehension and understanding. The grand scape of total reality proceeds far beyond our knowing and grasp. But, we may see from the beauty and wonder of the cosmos, a reflection of it’s source. This is enough for us. We may rightly surmise that the source is the most wondrous, amazing thing imaginable.We may call it God, or Great Spirit, Creator, or Divine Love. None of these words can do it’s reality justice , our feeling of awe, deep reverence, even rapture - is a closer sense or notion of the truth.

Oh, great indescribable mystery, sublime wonder and beautiful reality, majestic power and perpetual being - may we come to know your essence in our own limited human way! May we strive to clear the lens of our minds of the static of doubt,  cynicism, and negativity,  and portal of our hearts of the burdens of fear, resentment, and grief, that we be constantly filled with the sweet awareness of your reality and pour out with great passion into our lives and our world - the endless wonder of your love in our: compassion, empathy, tolerance, patience, forgiveness, and generosity! For we are formed of your Love and with your Love, and by our choice and expression of your Love - we give greater reality to life and to Love itself! May we live each moment aware of and alive with the essence of the Great Mystery, that Love which has no limit, and no end - amen...
