Love Sublime - the Heart of Life

At the core of reality

In the heart of existence

Lies the divine essence

This wondrous spirit, from which all things emanate

This magnificent being

Is beyond all description and comprehension

Yet, in the human heart

deep beneath all thought and notion

is an intuitive knowing

that this essence is Love

This sublime truth

is the largest fact of life

and is the most important thing

to know

Perhaps the Pantheists have it right

That God is in all things

If one looks deeply upon nature

Upon the vast amazing beautiful universal display

It is an awesome breathless view

And the deep feeling we feel from this awareness

Is Love

God is Love

Love is in all things

Here is the great mystery

and from this grand awareness comes

a deep reverence and appreciation

for life and all within life

If we keep this awareness

Hold it strong against all others

Against all the things of life,

competing for our attention

If we allow this awareness

to be our guiding light

in all that we think and do

(as well as we can being human)

Then truly we Love

and are Love radiant

and surely all our days

will have both meaning and great joy

Let this be our perpetual vision

and noble vocation
