When all life seems against you

many failures, you may own

do not give up, do not despair

for you are not alone

With your problems, multiplying

you’re frustrated to the bone

it’s all unfair, and no one cares,

but, you are not alone

The tests came back with outlook grim

you will not get that loan

the pain is more than you can bear

no fear, you’re not alone

Life’s ups and downs, you can’t predict

from joyous light to darker tone

no one escapes these, in the end

for you are not alone

This is the way it’s supposed to be

all that’s possible, will be shown

but don’t give up, and don’t give in

yes, you are not alone
